If you searched “open play tonight” and landed here, you want a current option. Static times go stale quickly. The finder provides dated schedule snapshots and direct provider links, but the provider’s booking page is the final source for tonight’s time and availability.
Use Find a Game before you drive
On the homepage, the Find a Game section shows dated provider-session snapshots near you. Set your city first (the search box accepts city or ZIP), then choose Today or Weekend. Each card links to the provider’s booking page, and a “last verified” date shows when we checked the snapshot. An unlisted session may still exist, so check the provider directly if nothing appears.
The providers we track for open play
These five indoor providers publish schedules or booking paths. Prices below come from our directory and can change, so confirm before traveling:
- SPARC Arena, Novi: 6 indoor courts, walk-in open play ($10 public / $5 members per our directory), court rental and skill-level play.
- Northville Pickleball Club: 16 indoor courts with skill-rated session play and drop-in (commonly $13); check its public booking page.
- Bash Pickleball Club, Warren: 18 indoor courts with visitor play and a public booking path.
- Metro Pickleball Club, Clinton Township: 16 indoor courts, reservable open play ($15 non-member per our directory), skill events and clinics.
- Action Sports Center, South Lyon: 5 indoor courts and $7 drop-in play per our directory.
Two more options have access restrictions: Wicked Pickle (Westland) lists $15 visitor evening open play with a free booking account, while Life Time clubs publish pickleball schedules for members.
What about free outdoor courts at night?
Hours vary across the public parks we track. Some close at dusk, while others publish later closing times. Lighting is not confirmed for most courts, so check the facility listing before planning after-dark play. City-by-city detail lives in our Plymouth, Commerce & Farmington Hills guide and the court listings.
What “verified” means here
A “last verified” date records when a schedule snapshot was checked. It is not a promise of current availability. We do not invent times or copy schedules from login-walled apps; use the provider link for the latest information.
Before you leave
1. Open Find a Game and set your city. 2. Choose a relevant dated listing. 3. Open the provider link and confirm the current time, price and availability. 4. If nothing fits, check the court list for other indoor options.
Check current options
Start with the dated session board, then confirm on the provider’s booking page.
