The Township of West Bloomfield's parks pages give pickleball players two public outdoor addresses and one indoor one. Drake Sports Park (6801 Drake Rd) lists four dedicated pickleball courts plus pickleball lines on two tennis courts, free during public hours, with the township's pickleball programming running around them. Keith Sports Park (2750 Keith Rd) adds two shared-use tennis courts with lines up north.
Drake and Keith sit about seven miles apart, so pick by which side of town you are on rather than which has fewer people.
One caveat on indoor: PickleRage publishes a location and a booking path but not a court count or open-public price list, which is why our directory flags it approximate. If pricing certainty matters, the Bloomfield Township and Troy clubs in our indoor guide publish rates directly.

Drake Sports Park: the main event
Four dedicated courts and two lined tennis courts, free, with posted hours of 8 a.m. to dusk and public access outside scheduled programming closures. The township's pickleball page is the source for both the courts and the closures, because clinics and organized programming can temporarily take courts at exactly the time you show up. Check it the morning of.
Keith Sports Park: shared-use up north
Keith's two tennis courts carry pickleball lines: shared use, bring your own nets if the court's set-up matters to you, and the same township park rules apply. It is the honest answer for players on the north side who do not want the Drake drive.
Both parks are township-run, which means the parks department's program calendar is the practical gatekeeper: clinics and organized programming nights take courts at posted times, and the rest of the day is public. There is no published online reservation process for casual walk-on play at either park in our records, and neither charges a court fee on the township's pages.
PickleRage: indoor at the Gateway Center
PickleRage West Bloomfield (7290 Orchard Lake Rd) lists year-round indoor play at the Gateway Center. Court count and current public pricing are not published on its front page, so confirm rates there before committing; in our directory it is flagged approximate for exactly that reason.
Quick pick
Best dedicated outdoor: Drake, outside programming hours. Closest to home if you are north of 13 Mile: Keith. November through March: PickleRage.
